The testing of kenaf composite boat has been conducted at MSET Shipbuilding Corporation Sdn Bhd, Kuala Terengganu. The production of this kenaf composite boat is the result of a research titled “Commercialization of Kenaf Textile as Raw Material in Boat Manufacturing Industry” conducted by researchers from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).
Also present at the testing were Mr. Ts Mohd Fadzhel Mohd Nasir, Deputy General Director (Development) of NKTB, Mr. Ts Mohd Za’im Mohd Nor (Director of Research and Development Division), and Mr. Muhamad Amirullah Nablan (Director of NKTB Terengganu State).
