This program was implemented at the Tok Jembal Multipurpose Hall, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu. The diesel subsidy targeting is aimed at smallholders in the Agri-commodity Sector, which includes smallholders in the Palm Oil, Rubber, Cocoa, Pepper, and Kenaf sectors in Peninsular Malaysia who are registered with agencies under KPK.
This implementation aligns with the inclusivity pillar of the National Agri-commodity Policy 2021-2030 (DAKN2030), which emphasizes efforts to expand inclusivity and ensure equitable wealth distribution.
There are three categories of BUDI MADANI: BUDI Individu for individual diesel vehicle owners who meet specific eligibility requirements, BUDI Agri-Commodity for registered farmers, livestock breeders, and smallholders, and MySubsidi Diesel for selected public and goods transport vehicles.
Smallholders attending today’s outreach program who have not yet applied for BUDI Agri-Commodity met with KPK officers or agency representatives to submit their applications.
Hopefully, today’s outreach program can be fully utilized and will, to some extent, assist the local residents and community. It also provides an opportunity for us, as well as KPK officers and agency representatives, to get to know and connect more closely with smallholders in the Agri-commodity Sector.
