KENAF-BASED RUMIN FOOD FORMULATION AND MANUFACTURING WORKSHOP SERIES 2/2024
The Training Unit of the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (LKTN) has organized a Kenaf-Based Ruminant Food Formulation and Manufacturing Workshop Series 2/2024 located in the Seminar Room, Putra Science Park, UPM Serdang.
The purpose of this workshop is to give exposure to the participants on the method of producing fodder based on kenaf that is capable of generating economic income.
A total of 30 participants were involved consisting of LKTN staff and high potential kenaf growers from all over the country.
Among the modules studied are such as Introduction to Livestock Feed and Livestock Animals, Livestock Daily Requirements, Food Formulation Factors and other related modules. Participants were also exposed to practical silage making to improve professional skills in producing kenaf silage.
Thank you to all the participants who were directly or indirectly involved in attending and making this workshop a success. Hope to be able to provide new innovations in exploring natural resources.
