EXHIBITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MALAYSIA COMMERCIALISATION YEAR (MCY) SUMMIT 202
The National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (LKTN) has participated in the Malaysia Commercialisation Year (MCY) Summit 2024, organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) on on 12 and 13 August 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). The MCY Summit is a signature event and an annual program that aims to recognise and celebrate the achievements of local researchers and technology entrepreneurs who have successfully commercialised their R&D products/technologies/services in the local and international markets, in addition to promoting current and ongoing initiatives by MOSTI.
The opening ceremony of MCY Summit 2024 was officially launched by YAB Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim. NKTB had the opportunity to participate in this exhibition along with 2 companies that have received MOSTI grants; Tasblock (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Tunas Arif Sdn. Bhd. This exhibition participation is one of the efforts to introduce and promote kenaf and kenaf-based products to the general public.
