SECOND DAY OF THE OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF PLANTATION INDUSTRIES AND COMMODITIES TO THE NATIONAL KENAF AND TOBACCO BOARD (LKTN)
The official visit by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin (Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities) continued to Terengganu and Kelantan.
The Deputy Minister’s visit to Setiu began with a tour of the Kenaf Plantation in Kg. Guntong, Setiu, Terengganu, followed by a visit to the Kenaf Product Processing and Production Center in Saujana, Setiu, and concluded with a visit to the IBS Kenaf House in Saujana.
The delegation then proceeded to the Tobacco Processing Facility in Jelur, Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, and the tobacco plantation in Kg. Balai, Bachok, where the official visit was brought to an end.
LKTN is deeply honored and grateful for the Deputy Minister’s willingness to visit Kelantan. We hope this visit provided the Deputy Minister with a comprehensive understanding of the kenaf industry and tobacco regulation.
