Today, a visit and discussion program was held between the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (LKTN) and the company PJM Kabong Sdn. Bhd. at the LKTN Headquarters in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
The visit and discussion were led by YBrs. Tn. Hj. Wan Baharuddin Wan Ismail (Director General of LKTN) to explore the potential of kenaf development in Kabong, Sarawak. The delegation from PJM Kabong Sdn. Bhd. was led by Tuan Haji Mohamad Yussof Rahman and included Tuan Charles John Antau and Tuan John Antau Linggang.
The delegation was then taken to visit the Kenaf Product Processing Center in Saujana, Setiu, Terengganu, where they were briefed by En. Muhamad Amirullah Nablan (Director of LKTN Terengganu). On the second day, the delegation visited the Kenaf Research Plantation Plot at the Kenaf and Tobacco Training Institute (INSKET) and was briefed by En. Azizi Fikri Mat Fauzi (Assistant Director of Development and Extension LKTN).
