Around the Workshop on the Preparation of Smart Enforcement Guidelines for the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (LKTN) held from December 27 to 29, 2023, in Alor Setar, Kedah.
The workshop was attended by representatives from various agencies and ministries, including the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM), the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDN), the Ministry of Health (KKM), and the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT). The objectives of this workshop include strengthening the guidelines for the implementation of Tobacco or Tobacco Products Licensing Enforcement, scheduled to begin in 2024, and fostering collaboration and experience-sharing among the involved agencies.
The workshop was officiated by YBrs Mr. Hj. Wan Baharuddin Bin Wan Ismail (Director-General of LKTN). Also present were Mr. Muhammad Zuhdi Bin Mustaffa (Director of Marketing Acting as Deputy Director-General of Management and Operations of LKTN), Mr. Eizwan Muzani Adzmi (Director of Licensing and Enforcement), as well as regional directors and state officers of LKTN.
